Welcome!

The fleeting magic of florescence, the process of flowering, can be yours to keep and share through the art of pressed flower designs.

It all starts with flora grown in Door County gardens or found in fields and meadows. I use a wide array of presses to flatten them, and some flowers are dyed to preserve or enhance colors.

For some cards and bookmarks, words and letters are delicately cut from roses to make everything 100% natural. A light sealant adds a protective covering.

I currently have pressed flower items at ARTicipation Gallery on Sturgeon Bay's west side, a wonderful place with a wide array of art. I will be back at the Jacksonport Farmers' Market every Tuesday (weather permitting) starting in mid-May 2026.

When I first began working on this website, I wanted it to be a place for customers to buy my designs. That has changed. It is now my intention to showcase the variety of pressed flower work that I do.

I have enjoyed talking about pressed flowers to those I have met at various Door County venues. You have re-energized me with your enthusiasm for my art. I always welcome your thoughts, questions, and feedback -- and orders. Thank you!
